Bernardo Silva confirms Manchester City exit after nine years

Manchester [UK], April 16 (ANI): Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva has confirmed that he will leave the club this summer, bringing an end to his nine-year stay with the Premier League giants.

In a heartfelt message shared on Instagram, Silva reflected on his journey since joining City, describing it as the fulfilment of a childhood dream and expressing gratitude for his time at the club.

He highlighted City's major achievements during his tenure, including multiple domestic titles and European success.

Silva also said he would be leaving not just a club but a city that had become central to his personal life, including his marriage and family.

"In a few months, it's time to say goodbye to the city where not only we won so much as a football club, but also where I started my marriage and my family. From the bottom of my heart, Ines and Carlota, thank you," he said.

Thanking fans, teammates, manager Pep Guardiola, and the club staff, Silva said he hopes supporters felt proud of his performances on the pitch and described himself as "a Man City supporter for life" after his departure.
