CBI arrests MCD deputy commissioner of Delhi's Shahdara for accepting Rs 4 lakh bribe

NEW DELHI: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested a senior officer of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 4 lakh, officials said on Tuesday.

The officer has been identified as Lt Col Abhishek Kumar Mishra, Deputy Commissioner, Shahdara North, MCD, according to news agency PTI. According to officials, the CBI took action after receiving information about Mishra’s alleged demand for the bribe.
