The Directorate of Education has issued an official calendar notifying students about the key dates of upcoming events.
As per the calendar released for the academic year 2026–27, the Common University Entrance Test-Undergraduate (CUET UG) registrations are scheduled to commence in the first week of April.

The directorate has asserted that the schedule has been drafted keeping the notified holidays and existing provisions in mind, and will ensure seamless school operations.
,The DoE calendar has also announced the key schedule for all government and government-aided schools in Delhi. Students can check out the important dates regarding admissions, examinations, holidays, and co-curricular activities for the forthcoming session.
,Additionally, the academic calendar comprises the registration schedule for competitive exams including JEE, NEET, CA, CLAT, along with scholarship exams like National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship and Mukhyamantri Vigyan Pratibha Pariksha, which are scheduled for August.
,Back in 2025, the Mahamana Pt. Madan Mohan Malviya Vidya Shakti Mission received the green signal from the Delhi government, aiming to increase government school students' access to higher education.
The scheme, which was passed by the Cabinet, was launched to provide academic support for national-level entrance examinations such as CUET, JEE, NEET, and CLAT to those who cannot afford coaching.
,As a part of this initiative, students will get free coaching, study material, mock tests, and tutoring to prepare for upcoming competitive exams like CUET UG 2026.
