Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) on Tuesday (April 7) announced that postgraduate admissions for the academic year 2026-27 will commence soon after the declaration of results for the Common Entrance Test (CUET-PG) 2026.
The exam was held between March 6 and March 27. The results of the exam will be released on the official website: nta. ac. in and exam. nta. ac. in/CUET-PG.
JNU PG Prospectus 2026 Out, Admissions to Begin After CUET-PG Results
,The university has advised the aspirants to review the JNU PG prospectus 2026-27 thoroughly to ensure they meet the eligibility criteria laid down by the authority. The prospectus was released last week.
It specifies that candidates appearing for programmes such as MA, MSc, MPH, MTech, PG Diploma, and Advanced Diploma must have appeared for CUET (PG) 2026.
,Admission in the specialised courses will follow a different procedures: MSc(Biotechnology) and MSc(Computational Biology) will be based on Gate-B scores, while the MTech programmes in Computer Science and Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering at the School of Engineering will be conducted through the Centralised Counselling for MTech (CCMT).
,As the CUET PG exam is concluded, candidates now await the answer key and the results. The result declaration will determine the eligibility for admission to JNU PG programmes.
Therefore, applicants have been also advised to keep the essential documents ready, including caste/category certificates (if only applicable), academic qualification certificates, marksheets, and income certificates where required.
,“Detailed information regarding the admission portal, schedule, and application procedure will be provided in due course,” stated by the university in its official notification.
