Civil Aviation Minister K. Rammohan Naidu has criticised the Congress-led opposition for blocking the Women’s Reservation Bill in Parliament.

In a social media post, Mr Naidu said that at a time when the country is taking significant steps towards women’s empowerment, the Congress-led opposition chose obstruction instead of constructive participation.

He added that opposing the bill is not just political posturing but a direct denial of opportunity to millions of women across the country.

The Minister emphasised that the Women’s Reservation Bill is about ensuring justice, dignity, and fair representation for women in the democratic process.
