U Mumbai TT will retain their championship-winning coaching duo of Jay Modak and John Murphy for Ultimate Table Tennis (UTT) Season 7, scheduled to take place in Goa in July 2026. All seven teams have confirmed their coaching lineups for the upcoming season.
National team coach Sourav Chakraborty will make his UTT debut as head coach of Ahmedabad APL Pipers. Former player Abhishek Yadav will return to the league as a coach for UP Prometheans.

Dabang Delhi TTC will introduce a new coaching combination featuring Petr David, a three-time Czech Men’s Doubles champion and two-time mixed doubles champion, alongside Indian coach Srivatsa Chakravarthy.
The franchise-based league, promoted by Niraj Bajaj and Vita Dani under the Table Tennis Federation of India (TTFI), aims to combine experienced coaching with fresh talent.
Butterfly UTT Co-Promoter Vita Dani commented, “It is exciting to see such a strong blend of continuity and fresh perspectives across teams this season.
Coaches are central to how teams prepare, adapt, and perform, and this mix of experienced names and new entrants will raise the overall level of competition. We are looking forward to another closely fought season with high-quality table tennis.
” At U Mumbai TT, Modak’s expertise in nurturing young players complements Murphy’s extensive international background. UP Prometheans will have Abhishek Yadav in a coaching role alongside returning Chris Pfeiffer.
Ahmedabad APL Pipers will reunite former champion Francisco Santos with Sourav Chakraborty.
