1. Scope of This Refund Policy
This Refund Policy applies to paid services offered by Global Talk, including but not limited to:
- Advertising campaigns
- Banner ads, native ads and sponsored placements
- Sponsored articles and brand stories
- Press release submission and distribution
- PR marketplace packages
- Media marketplace services
- Podcast promotion and sponsorship services
- Business-media collaboration packages
- Freelancer/media professional listing packages
- Publisher, advertiser or brand dashboard subscriptions
- Lead generation or campaign packages
- Any other paid service, package or plan offered by Global Talk
2. General Refund Principle
Global Talk provides digital, media, advertising, PR, publishing and marketplace services. Many of these services involve advance planning, editorial review, technical setup, media inventory reservation, campaign configuration, creative review, content processing, reporting setup or third-party coordination.
Therefore, refunds depend on the stage of service delivery.
A refund may be considered only where the service has not been activated, published, delivered, reserved, consumed or substantially processed.
3. Non-Refundable Services
Unless expressly agreed in writing, the following services are generally non-refundable once activated, processed, published, delivered or reserved:
- Published press releases
- Published sponsored articles
- Published brand stories
- Live or completed advertising campaigns
- Media inventory already reserved or consumed
- Podcast promotions already scheduled, published or delivered
- PR campaign work already initiated
- Creative review, content editing or campaign setup work already completed
- Marketplace listing already activated
- Subscription period already used
- Customized media packages
- Third-party media, publisher or vendor charges already committed
- Any service where performance reporting has already started
- Any discounted, promotional, bundled or limited-time package marked as non-refundable
4. Refundable Cases
A refund may be considered in the following cases:
- Duplicate payment has been made for the same service.
- Payment was deducted but the order or service was not confirmed.
- Global Talk is unable to provide the purchased service.
- Service has not been activated, published, scheduled, reserved or processed.
- A technical error caused incorrect billing.
- Cancellation request is received before service activation and before any cost or work has been incurred.

5. Cancellation Before Service Activation
Users may request cancellation before the service is activated.
If the cancellation request is approved before any work, setup, reservation, publication or third-party commitment has started, Global Talk may issue a full refund.
If work has started but the service is not yet published or fully delivered, Global Talk may deduct applicable charges for:
- Content review
- Editorial processing
- Campaign setup
- Creative review
- Platform charges
- Payment gateway charges
- Third-party costs
- Media inventory reservation
- Administrative processing
The remaining amount, if any, may be refunded or issued as platform credit at Global Talk's discretion.
6. Advertising Campaign Refunds
6.1 Before Campaign Launch
If cancellation is requested before campaign launch and before ad inventory is reserved, a refund may be considered after deducting applicable setup, creative review, platform or payment charges.
6.2 After Campaign Launch
Once an advertising campaign has gone live, consumed impressions, clicks, views, leads, placements or inventory are non-refundable.
Any unspent campaign balance may be adjusted, extended, credited or refunded depending on the campaign type, billing model and written agreement.
6.3 Performance Not Guaranteed
Global Talk does not guarantee specific clicks, conversions, sales, leads, ranking, traffic, business results or revenue unless expressly agreed in writing.
Refunds will not be provided only because a campaign did not achieve expected business results, unless Global Talk has failed to deliver a clearly committed and paid service.
7. Press Release, PR and Sponsored Content Refunds
For press releases, PR marketplace services, sponsored articles, brand stories and content publishing services:
- Refunds may be considered only before review, editing, scheduling, publication or distribution begins.
- Once content is reviewed, edited, scheduled, published or distributed, the service is non-refundable.
- Publication does not guarantee search ranking, media pickup, Google News/Discover visibility, traffic, backlinks, leads, sales or brand reputation improvement.
- If Global Talk rejects content due to violation of content, legal, editorial or advertising guidelines, Global Talk may offer revision, credit or refund depending on the stage of processing and costs incurred.
- If the user voluntarily withdraws content after processing has started, applicable charges may be deducted.
8. Media Marketplace and Freelancer Services
For media marketplace, freelancer listing, media professional discovery and collaboration services:
- Listing fees are generally non-refundable once the listing is activated.
- Subscription fees are non-refundable for the period already started or used.
- Global Talk does not guarantee business leads, assignments, clients, media coverage, collaborations or income.
- If a paid listing is not activated due to a technical or platform issue from Global Talk's side, a refund or credit may be considered.
9. Podcast Services
For podcast promotion, sponsorship, listing or advertising services:
- Refunds may be considered before scheduling, production, promotion or placement begins.
- Once the podcast promotion, ad placement, sponsorship, editing, listing or campaign is scheduled, published or delivered, the service is generally non-refundable.
- Global Talk does not guarantee specific plays, downloads, followers, sponsorship leads, conversions or revenue unless expressly agreed in writing.
10. Subscription Plans
If Global Talk offers subscription-based services:
- Subscription fees are charged in advance.
- Subscription fees are generally non-refundable once the billing cycle starts.
- Users may cancel renewal for the next billing cycle.
- Cancellation will stop future billing but will not automatically refund the current billing period.
- If a subscription was charged due to a technical error or duplicate billing, a refund may be considered after verification.
11. Platform Credits
In some cases, Global Talk may offer platform credits instead of a cash refund.
Platform credits may be used for future services such as advertising, sponsored content, PR campaigns, media marketplace services or podcast promotions.
Platform credits:
- Are not transferable unless approved by Global Talk.
- Cannot be exchanged for cash unless expressly agreed.
- May have an expiry date.
- Must be used according to applicable service terms.
12. Duplicate or Failed Payments
If your payment is deducted but your order is not confirmed, or if a duplicate payment is made, please contact us with payment proof.
After verification, the amount may be refunded to the original payment method or adjusted against your order.
Refund timelines may depend on the payment gateway, bank or financial institution involved.

15. Taxes, Gateway Charges and Deductions
Refund amounts may be subject to deductions for:
- Payment gateway charges
- Platform processing charges
- Taxes already paid or payable
- Third-party media or vendor charges
- Work already completed
- Campaign setup or administrative charges
- Any other cost already incurred by Global Talk
Tax refunds, if applicable, will be handled according to applicable tax laws and invoice status.
16. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Users are encouraged to contact Global Talk first before raising chargebacks or payment disputes with banks or payment gateways.
If a chargeback or dispute is raised, Global Talk may suspend the related account, campaign, publication, service or subscription until the matter is resolved.
False, fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may result in account restriction or legal action.
17. No Refund for Policy Violations
No refund will be provided if a service is suspended, rejected, removed or terminated due to:
- Violation of Global Talk's Terms of Use
- Misleading, false or unlawful content
- Copyright, trademark or privacy violations
- Fraudulent payment or suspicious activity
- Prohibited advertisement or PR claims
- Illegal product or service promotion
- Misuse of platform, campaign or marketplace tools
- Violation of applicable laws or third-party rights
18. Service Modification Instead of Refund
Where practical, Global Talk may offer an alternative solution instead of refund, such as:
- Campaign rescheduling
- Content revision
- Placement adjustment
- Package extension
- Platform credit
- Replacement service
- Technical correction
- Additional reporting support
Such alternatives may be offered at Global Talk's discretion.
